Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Before Dispatch
Customers may request cancellation only before the order has been dispatched. Requests must be raised with customer support along with the order ID.
Once an order has been packed or handed over to the courier partner, cancellation is not possible.
The Sober Habit reserves the right to cancel orders prior to dispatch in cases including:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or listing errors
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Incomplete or incorrect customer information
In such cases, payments received will be refunded as per applicable refund timelines.
Cancellation After Dispatch
Once dispatched, cancellation requests are not accepted due to the perishable and consumable nature of food products and food safety regulations.
Shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable once dispatch has occurred.
Returns Policy
Due to the nature of packaged food products, The Sober Habit follows a restricted returns policy.
Returns Are Not Accepted For:
- Change of mind
- Taste or flavour preference
- Incorrect selection by the customer
- Delivery delays caused by courier partners
- Partial consumption of products
Food products once delivered cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
Eligible Return Scenarios
- Wrong product delivered
- Product damaged during transit
- Packaging tampered or seal broken at delivery
- Manufacturing defect identified at delivery
Return requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.
How to Raise a Return Request
- Contact customer support within 24 hours
- Share the order ID
- Provide clear images or videos showing the issue
- Describe the problem accurately
Requests submitted without proper proof or beyond the specified time window may not be accepted.
Inspection & Approval
All return requests are subject to internal review and verification.
If approved:
- Replacement or refund will be initiated
- Return pickup may or may not be required
If rejected:

Refund Reference
Approved refunds are processed as per the Exchange & Refund Policy and credited to the original payment method within the defined timeline.
Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
